The European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) is the institution responsible for governing 56 National Federations throughout Europe and is recognised as such by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB).

Our ultimate goal is to promote Volleyball, Beach Volleyball and Snow Volleyball and to raise the status of our sport to a higher level. Whether the game is played indoors, on sand or on snow, Volleyball connects and brings people together – from children playing in their free time up to professional, elite athletes.

We are currently looking to recruit a:

Digital & TV Intern

Location:                            Luxembourg

Type of contract: Four to six-month internship

Department:                      Digital & TV Department

Reporting to:                      Head of Digital & TV

The Role

As an intern for the CEV Digital & TV Department, the selected candidate will be assisting & supporting the team in charge of the delivery of multiple digital, media & marketing projects including TV distribution, digital content production, platform management and content marketing:

·       Support the TV & media rights team in the delivery of events in the 3 disciplines (Volleyball, Beach Volleyball and Snow Volleyball)

·       Contribute to the digital coverage of CEV sports and corporate events

·       Monitor and contribute to the management and further development of the CEV websites

·       Assist with digital content creation for all CEV platforms (OTT, social media & websites)

·       Support the working relationship and processes with in-house, external content creators and appointed agencies

·       Monitoring and tracking of digital marketing metrics to measure performance of the CEV digital ecosystem


·       1 to 2 years of proven experience in social media, digital marketing, digital communication, and sports-related content production.

·       BA, BSc or equivalent in a relevant field.

·       Understanding of the sports industry and digital technologies.

·       Understanding project management methodologies and mainstream project management tools.

·       Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics.

·       Intermediate proficiency level in the MS Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere & After Effects).


·       English proficiency in both speaking and writing. Any other European language is a plus.

·       A team player.

·       Organised, thorough, and detailed.

·       High level of accountability and ownership of action when assigned any tasks.

·       Ability to prioritise and manage tasks when assisting the department.
